WITCH FINGER COOKIES

A week and a half until Halloween! It’s crazy to me that this year is almost over. I just can’t believe it. This year has been a whirlwind for me. Writing these recipes has been a huge foundation for me throughout these last couple of months, and it’s given me a lot of purpose. So, if you’re reading this I deeply appreciate you being here. I love this blog and I hope to be able to keep it sustainable for the long term future.

Baking these witch finger cookies brought me so much joy. I’m really enjoying these Halloween themed recipes and the creativity it’s bringing me. They have a delicious almond flavor, which is set off by almond slices (and a few whole nuts!) as the fingernails.

I’ve been told my whole life that I have witch fingers so I used my actual fingers as the inspiration for the shape of the cookies. I was going to post a photo of my fingers as a reference, but I became a little too self conscious and decided otherwise. There are tons of photos of my hands on previous posts though, so they won’t be hard to find. 🙂

This recipe is definitely beginner friendly. They were so much fun to make and if you’re looking for a cute recipe to make with kids, this is it! My fingers were about 2 to 3 inches long and I was able to make about 25 of them.
