FROZEN YOGURT BLUEBERRIES

Since I’ve been on a mission to cut back on processed sweets, I’ve re-discovered my love of fruit. It has allowed me to substitute healthier fruit options instead of a candy bar or ice cream. These frozen yogurt blueberries are exactly what I needed to help me get through my sugar addiction.

They are super simple to make and they’re easy on the wallet. I used strawberry Greek yogurt since it’s my favorite but any kind of yogurt will do. I scooped it into a bowl then poured the blueberries on top. Using a fork I dunked each blueberry and placed them onto a plate keeping a distance from one another. I froze them overnight and that’s all it takes!

I keep a few stored in the refrigerator but the rest of them I keep in the freezer and I pull them out the morning before. When they’re frozen, they’re too hard to bite so they’re more of a treat to suck on. When they’re thawed out I like to eat them alone as a snack. They’re also perfect over granola and oat meal.

Since these are frozen they keep for a long time. I like to make a few batches of them and keep them in the freezer until I’m ready to defrost them. It’s nice to have ready-to-eat options that are healthier but also delicious at the same time. Plus, they’re easy peasy!
