BUNDT PAN ICE CUBE

Party punch in style with bundt pan ice cubes. It’s as simple as it sounds, throw some of your favorite punch ingredients into a bundt pan mold and freeze until it becomes a solid ice cube. It’s super simple to whip up so let your creativity flow!

I was originally going to use my classic metal bundt pan mold but then I discovered silicone molds and it’s a game changer. I was a little concerned about how I was going to get the ice cube out of the metal mold but the silicone mold eliminates that problem. How convenient, huh?

There’s pretty much an unlimited number of ways to customize this. I used cara cara and blood oranges, raspberries, thyme and freshly brewed Wild Sweet Orange tea from Tazo. Here are some additional options that would work well:

  • Sliced apples
  • Sliced pears
  • Rose tea
  • Hibiscus tea
  • Green tea
  • Kiwi
  • Pineapple
  • Blueberries
  • Cinnamon Sticks
  • Edible flowers

The object is to make the ice cubes as beautiful as possible. As long as it’s edible, throw your favorite things in there. If you’re looking for a boozy punch, pour some liquor over the ice. Vodka and rum would work really well. I imagine a tropical rum punch with kiwi, pineapple rings, maybe a few maraschino cherries. It’s giving me total summer vibes.

BUNDT PAN ICE CUBE RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 2 cara cara oranges
  • 2 blood oranges
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • A few sprigs of thyme
  • Freshly brewed tea of choice (I used Wild Sweet Orange tea from Tazo)

Directions

  1. Brew the tea and allow it to cool to room temperature then chill in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  2. Slice the citrus then pour the chilled tea into the bundt mold.
  3. Add the raspberries and thyme sprigs.
  4. Freeze until solid (this took me about a full day)
  5. Store in the mold until ready to use.
  6. Remove from the mold and place the ice ring into a punch bowl. Pour in your favorite beverage.
  7. Enjoy.
