I call this one the lazy person’s oatmeal. One of my most favorite things about baking is that the oven does all the work for me. Just combine a few ingredients, set a timer, then like magic it’s ready. After such a busy holiday, I can use all of the lazy cooking I can get. This tea baked oatmeal recipe is the perfect breakfast meal.

I was in a berry mood so I used the frozen berry mix I add to my protein shakes and it came out perfect! There are lots of other options to choose from, such as:
- Bananas
- Cherries
- Chocolate
- Raspberries
- Coconut
- Blueberries
- Almonds
- Strawberries
To get the taste of tea infused into the oatmeal, I infused the butter with tea bags using a double boiler. If you’re unsure about how to do that, read the full post here. Tea adds a unique nuance that makes boring recipes exciting and fun. I used chamomile tea but literally any tea can be used so get creative!

Let the oven do the work for you and squeeze some relaxation in. New year, new you, or something… 🙂
