I know dry January is over but that doesn’t mean mocktails aren’t cool anymore. I’m currently in a season in my life where I’m not drinking alcohol so I say bring them on! If you’d like to add a little (or a lot of) booze to yours, that ok, too! This strawberry cream mocktail recipe is one of my favorites and it’s made with freshly brewed tea!

I used jasmine green tea because it both compliments and contrasts the strawberries and cream. I purchased the tea from my most favorite Mountain Rose Herbs. The tea adds a light and airy nuance to the drink. It’s so good!
I’ve been dreaming of less wintery weather so I’ve been trying to distract myself with summer-like things. One of them is strawberries. Actually, pretty much all fruit give me summer vibes. But strawberries have really been standing out for me.

I combined frozen organic strawberries, almond milk and tea in a food processor. Mix for a few seconds until the ingredients are fully blended and I’m left with a nice and smooth texture. The tea adds a unique twist to the typical strawberry and cream cocktail. It also adds a sweet flavor without using sugar. The almond milk adds a light creamy texture, like a light cream. It’s the perfect infusion of all three ingredients. If you like your tea to be sweetened then throw some honey or agave nectar in there as well. I’m trying to cut back on sugar so I went without for this recipe.
