Apple, orange peel, mango, papaya, pineapple, licorice root, lemongrass and marigold. These are the ingredients that make up Mandarin Mimosa tea. I used it as the base of this tea soda recipe I’m sharing with you today.

If you’ve never tried a tea soda, now is the time. The basics are simple. Pour something carbonated over tea. I used seltzer water. There are lots of carbonation choices to choose from, here are a few:
- sparkling water
- seltzer water
- soda
- tonic water
- club soda
- carbonated wine

I love how Mandarin Mimosa gives me the most summery vibes. It’s light and airy and has a natural sweetness. If you like your beverages to be on the sweeter side, I recommend to add some simple syrup, honey or agave nectar. I find the natural sweetness of this tea perfect as it is.

As a daily tea drinker, I feel like there are never ending options when it comes to choice. There are a million different types of tea blends and I can’t ever see myself getting bored with them. I’m normally a hot tea drinker but there are a ton of ways to make iced tea exciting. Adding soda to it is one of my favorite ways. Plus it’s a refreshing way to get a soda without all of the sugar and calories.
